For the last week or so, Green Bay Packers fans have been keeping an eye on the New York Jets head coach and general manager searches. The results of those hirings will undoubtedly determine the direction of the Jets franchise and, by extension, the futures of former Packers stars Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.
Of course, the entire NFL world has no idea what Rodgers will do this offseason, whether it be retire or declare that he wants to come back. Of course, if he chooses to play in 2025 and New York wants to move on from him, there may not be many options available for the future Pro Football Hall of Famer, at least ones that he would want to consider.
Adams, on the other hand, will most certainly be playing in 2025 and beyond. New York needs to decide, too, what to do with him because of his contract. They can save tens of millions of dollars by releasing him, which would make him a free agent.
And he sure has been hinting about a possible return to Green Bay a lot lately.
Davante Adams Compared Jayden Daniels to Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love
During his most recent guest appearance on “Up and Adams,” which is hosted by Kay Adams, the three-time All-Pro wide receiver was asked what has impressed him the most about Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
He responded, “He reminds me a lot of, just the temperament, the calmness, the smoothness out there, he’s a lot like J Love. And you never see him get worked up. He may put a ball out there a little too far, somebody may not come down with it, which doesn’t happen too much, but if it does, you can just feel like different kind of veteran feel back there.”
Adams, of course, was around Love in 2020 and 2021 during his last two years with the Packers. Love’s composure and calmness has been something that many people have noted throughout the course of the last two years.
However, the fact that Adams brought him up unprompted had Packers fans going wild.

Needless to say, Packers fans were once again excited to hear Adams say something positive about Love/Green Bay:
Adams is still under contract with the Jets, but should he be released, it sure does sound like he has a good idea of where he wants to go.
