Bravo suspends Gia Giudice after cheating allegations at Rutgers; daughter Teresa faces the risk of having all her credits revoked for suspected involvement in a grade-rigging ring that is under investigation

Gia Giudice is facing one of the most serious crises of her college life as her latest social media moves have raised suspicions that she is trying to erase her tracks amid the escalating academic scandal at Rutgers University. Fans quickly discovered that Gia had quietly deleted a series of Instagram posts related to her studies at Rutgers, including photos from her first day of school, photos of her checking in at the library, words of gratitude to her professors, and even a video of her sharing moments of attending online classes during the pandemic. The action took place just hours after information leaked that Gia was one of the names targeted in the school's internal investigation related to the grade manipulation ring.

According to a source from the Rutgers academic department, the school has officially conducted a review of a series of exams and scores of a group of students suspected of participating in organized academic cheating activities, in which Gia Giudice is said to be one of the individuals named in an anonymous email sent to the board. If the school is found to be involved in the incident, Gia not only faces the risk of being suspended but may even have all of her accumulated credits revoked during her time at the school, which means she will lose all of her academic results and have to start over from zero or be forced to leave the Rutgers university system permanently

The incident has created a fierce controversy in the student community and social networks when a part of Rutgers students believe that Gia is being "secretly favored" by the school because she is the daughter of Teresa Giudice, a famous TV star from the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise, while other students who have violated academic rules at a lesser level have been dealt with publicly and severely. The wave of criticism became even more intense when Gia began cleaning up her personal page as if trying to deny her connection to the school where she was once proud to be attached

A former friend of Gia's anonymously shared that she had heard Gia "joking" about getting help with homework remotely or knowing in advance structure of the exam through friends as teaching assistants, although the testimony could not be confirmed, the fact that Gia's papers had irregular results in terms of scores in some subjects prompted the Rutgers academic board to put her on the initial investigation list. An anonymous lecturer said the board summoned the group of students involved to a closed hearing without the participation of any parents or media representatives.

Gia's personal lawyer and the Giudice family have not yet made an official comment, but a source close to Teresa revealed that she is "extremely angry" and believes that her daughter is being turned into a media scapegoat because of the family's famous background. Bravo is also currently keeping quiet about the incident and has not confirmed whether the scandal will affect Gia's segments on RHONJ next season.

Meanwhile, the Rutgers academic ethics board has issued an internal notice affirming that it will conduct a thorough and transparent investigation and pledging "there will be no discrimination “It’s not just about students, no matter who they are or where they come from.” If Gia Giudice is confirmed to be involved in the cheating scandal, the consequences will not only be an academic shock, but also a fatal blow to her personal image, which has been built quite positively in recent years as a daughter who overcame family adversity to rise in the academic environment.

The question now is no longer whether Gia Giudice is involved in the incident, but whether Rutgers has the courage to seriously deal with a name associated with reality TV fame when the public is watching her every move and the entire student community is waiting for a transparent explanation from this prestigious school.
