Bravo Star Says He’s Single Despite Relationship Rumors

Tom Schwartz claims he’s not officially dating anyone, despite rumors of a more than a year-long romance with Sophia Skoro.

Speaking with Us Weekly on February 19, the former “Vanderpump Rules” star claimed he did “nothing” for Valentine’s Day 2025 as he spent the day in Minnesota. “Honestly, I am not formally dating anyone, I am just hanging out,” the 42-year-old bar owner told the outlet. “So there is not much to say about my love life.”

Schwartz’s comments come more than a  year after he first sparked romance rumors with Skoro, 24. In early 2024, Schwartz appeared on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” to tease that he was “hanging out” with a mystery lady, presumed to be Skoro.

He later told Access Hollywood that his new woman was “charismatic and clever and kind of unconventionally funny.” “She’s way cooler than me,” he said.

In April 2024, Schwartz and Skoro even appeared on “The Viall Files” as a couple. At the time, Schwartz made it seem as though Skoro was his girlfriend.

“We actually met on a whim at TomTom,” Schwartz told host Nick Viall. “It’s funny, ironically, around that moment, I made a pledge, not only to myself, but to the universe, that I will not hang out or date. I’m just going to be single and work for the next two years. Then I bumped into her.”

In January 2025, he told the “LadyGang” podcast that dating is “the last thing on [his] mind.” But he also teased that Skoro—or someone—is in the picture. “There’s someone I really enjoy hanging out with, but yeah,” he said, later adding, “By the way, I’m happy right now. I’m chilling. I’m very peaceful. I’m happy in my personal life.”

Schwartz’s ex Maloney wasted no time in moving on. Her post-marital dating life was seen in the final seasons of “Vanderpump Rules.”

She is now in a serious relationship with Sleeping With Sirens guitarist Nick Martin. Maloney first spilled on her relationship status in an October 2024 episode of her “Disrespectfully” podcast. “I have a boyfriend,” she told cohost Dayna Kathan. “Yeah, I’m in love, everybody. I’m really happy.”

“He’s the most wonderful person I’ve ever met,” she added of her new man. “He’s very lovely and he just makes me feel really special and he’s really special and, yeah, I’m just really happy.”

Unlike Schwartz, she also had big plans for Valentine’s Day 2025.

“I do have plans for Valentine’s Day. Nick and I are going out to dinner,” Maloney shared on “Disrespectfully” on February 12. “And there is like a prefixed set menu price little thing. We just figured, OK, it’s our first Valentine’s Day together. … We’re like, let’s [expletive] do it for our first Valentine’s Day, and then maybe go to a tiki bar or something after.”
