On the Tuesday, May 6 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Carter consider their future in different ways. They also look at their past. Which direction will they choose? Check out the other key moments that are unfolding in this episode.
Different Pathways
We could see the difference in Hope’s (Annika Noelle) and Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) pasts. Carter was still at Hope’s house, declaring why they should go back together. However, she felt hesitant about going back to the way things were. She knew they can’t go back to the way things were since Forrester Creations was no longer theirs. Also, there’s the nose, aka Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire), who shook up their relationship.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) interrupted their conversation. Carter didn’t want to get into another Battle Royale, so he left. When he returned to the office, he ran into Daphne, who was talking about him behind his back. She told Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will (Crew Morrow) that Carter needed to move on. When they were alone, she continued to make a play for Carter. Daphne reminded him that his future is with her. But is his future crystal clear? He seems to be stuck on his past with Hope.
Anti-Carter Campaign
Meanwhile, Deacon continued with his anti-Carter campaign. He wanted to know if his daughter was seriously considering taking back the man who betrayed her. Hope didn’t want to hear any more about it. She was already confused about where her heart lies. Suddenly, the father-daughter duo was interrupted. Hope was relieved to see Liam (Scott Clifton) at her door. He showed up at the right time.

Deacon reminded Hope of Liam’s kindness and good heart. He wanted her to reconsider her future with Carter. That led Hope and Liam to talk about their past once they were alone. They reminisced about the good times as well as the bad. They overcame a lot, especially when it came to Beth. But Hope didn’t want to go back there. She told Liam that they could share many more milestones and special moments with their kids. Clearly, Hope doesn’t want Liam back. (But does Hope really still love Carter?)
Hope expressed her gratitude for Liam being there for their daughter. That’s when Liam realized he had to tell her the truth. But for some reason, he couldn’t say the words.
