Bo Nix’s Favorite Broncos Target Predicted To Land $80 Million Deal

After Courtland Sutton commented about his future with the Denver Broncos, as the 29-year-old is looking for a long-term extension, things seem to be trending in the right direction.

"My team has had a really good conversation with the guys up there in the front office, and I think it's working in the right direction," he told the Denver Post. "Ultimately, you just want to know you're working in the right direction. I think they see and have seen what I've brought to the team.

Bo Nix’s Favorite Broncos Target Predicted To Land $80 Million Deal

"I'm open and optimistic about the fact that I'll be able to be here for the rest of my career."

However, until the Broncos get a deal done, there will be a possibility of losing him, something the team clearly doesn't want to happen given what he's done for the organization and young quarterback Bo Nix.

Looking at a future contract, it remains uncertain exactly what Sutton is looking for. However, Spotrac predicted he will land a $26.6 million AAV deal over three years, taking him to about $79.7 million.

Let's call it an $80 million deal, which would be more than fair for a player of Sutton's caliber.

With the other top wide receivers in the NFL making more than that, the Broncos might get off cheap here. He's just as good as many of the top players in the league.

After a 1,081-yard performance and back-to-back seasons with at least eight touchdowns, Sutton would be an excellent piece to keep around for the remainder of his career.

He's been with the Broncos since 2018 after being selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the team, and clearly wants to stay in Denver.
