The Buffalo Bills cut veteran defensive back Tre'Davious White back in March of 2024, and he then ended up with the Los Angeles Rams. He was then traded at the deadline to the Baltimore Ravens.

But once he was a free agent after the 2024 season, the Bills decided to bring him back on a one-year deal to help their secondary. But per a recent report by The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia, he says that White has lost a step.

"White’s ability to turn and run with receivers isn’t what it used to be, leading to some real opportunities for Bills pass catchers throughout the spring practices," Buscaglia wrote. "It’s not to say that White can’t get himself back to a place, as it would be unwise to write him off after only five viewed practices in the spring. It is just something worth monitoring once the Bills return to the field in late July."

The team did draft Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, so they do have depth at the position. But it would be good to see White make an impact on this team.

White has dealt with a number of injuries over the past several seasons, so that has had a big impact on his game. In 11 games in 2024, the 30-year-old corner had 22 total tackles and five pass deflections, so he can still get the job done.

His time in the NFL may be dwindling, but White will be looking to make his impact felt in the time he has left.
