Bills Urged To Add Stefon Diggs-Like Receiver For Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills had one of the best offenses in football last season, and that looks to be the case again in 2025.Bills Urged To Add Stefon Diggs-Like Receiver For Josh Allen

The losses of Mack Hollins and Amari Cooper could be seen as ones that might hinder Joe Brady's unit, but the signing of Josh Palmer in free agency, coupled with the expected growth of Keon Coleman, the Bills look to have a good group on paper heading into next season.

But for most, another receiver for Allen is needed, and while we might see it as a luxury, others don't. NFL.com's Adam Rank has Luther Burden III as the pick in his mock draft.

"There are a lot of ways you could go here, with a number of great pass rushers still available to you," Rank writes . "However, I really like the idea of adding another receiver. Burden has a game that is very reminiscent of Stefon Diggs and would be a great option for Josh Allen in a receiver corps that is a bit lacking outside of Khalil Shakir."

Boasting a 4.41 40-yard dash, coupled with his excellent ball skills, Burden could be deployed out of the slot and give Shakir some help, plus, he can win on all three levels which makes him a danger.

The Bills added Palmer to bring a speed element to the offense, and they double down on that with Burden to give Allen two home-run threats to pair with Shakir, Coleman, and tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.

The need to add another receiver might not be seen as necessary, but if one of the top talents is somehow available in the first round when Buffalo picks, it will be hard to pass up on that.
