The reigning NFL MVP, Josh Allen, has arrived to the Buffalo Bills‘ training camp, and the franchise is making it clear that he’s ready to rock this season.
The longstanding Bills quarterback reported to Bills Camp on Tuesday, July 22, and he was one of the first Buffalo players to get the spotlight on the franchise’s social media.
“The MVP has arrived for Bills Camp,” the post from the Bills read, along with a smiling face emoji.
In the video, Allen is seen walking with his luggage towards Bills Camp wearing sunglasses, a black cap, white shirt and black pants.

“Josh is like a little kid who’s excited for summer camp,” one follower said. “Looking good, QB,” another said with a winking emoji, adding, “Are you ready to win it all this year? ” One more added, “I’m willing to bet he’s pushing for a 2nd MVP this year.”
The post had more than more than 135,000 views on X by the time this story was published, and it’s still climbing.
The Bills followed that up with another post featuring Allen, this one with the caption on X, “It’s happening” and video of him walking towards the camera in uniform. In this video, he was also wearing the team’s just-announced red helmets.
Josh Allen of the Bills is a Top Quarterback
It goes without saying that Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Allen was crowned the No. 2 best quarterback in the league in the latest report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Last season, Allen led the NFL in QBR and yards per dropback under pressure, according to Fowler, and had 13 passing touchdowns under duress.
“Allen’s standing in our top 10 series has been a journey — and a point of contention in Buffalo,” Fowler stated in the feature. “Since the series started in 2020 until 2023, Allen’s place in the quarterback pantheon was universally celebrated among voters inside the league and highlighted in this piece annually. He became, unquestionably, a top-shelf quarterback in the league.”
Last season, Allen led the NFL in QBR and yards per dropback under pressure, according to Fowler, and had 13 passing touchdowns under duress. One NFC personnel executive said of Allen, “He’s done everything. He’s answered every test. He makes less mistakes and takes care of the ball. Only thing left to do is win it all.”
Allen was ranked No. 4 in PFF’s tally of the best quarterbacks in the league. “Allen’s 95.4 overall grade over the past three seasons ranks first among all quarterbacks,” John Kosko stated. “His 91.4 passing grade in that span is third, behind Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Despite losing his top two receivers from 2023, Allen didn’t miss a beat in 2024, delivering his most complete season yet and earning his first MVP award.”
So, Allen is in the building, or to say it more appropriately for football, on the field. Even though the regular season is still a few months away, it really feels like things are heating up now, and Allen is back in front of the Bills audience who adores him so much.
