Bills Make Coaching Move After Disappointing Season

The Buffalo Bills continue to field one of the best teams in the NFL but haven't found the answer to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

Buffalo is led by MVP quarterback Josh Allen and head coach Sean McDermott, who helped the Bills enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the AFC with a 13-4 record.

After the Bills suffered an AFC Championship Game loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion runner-ups, the Kansas City Chiefs, they made an important coaching decision.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Bills have fired former Carolina Panthers interim head coach Chris Tabor, who will now serve as the team's special teams coordinator.

Schefter explained that Tabor was out of the NFL during the 2024 season. He served as the Panthers' interim head coach in 2023, just after being named their special teams coordinator from 2022 to 2023.

Tabor also spent time with the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns during his NFL career, which began in 2008.

The Bills have been flirting with a Super Bowl for the past several years, but they have mightily struggled against the Chiefs. Buffalo is 0-4 against Kansas City in the postseason since Patrick Mahomes was named the starter.

They fell 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game, their final matchup of the season.
