Bills' Joshua Palmer Scouts The One Key to Connection With Josh Allen: 'Be Consistent!'

Buffalo Bills training camp is continuing with the franchise now having two padded practices to help push along the development of the roster.

Being at a crucial point in the offseason, receiver Joshua Palmer is still getting used to his new team, the system, and developing that receiver/quarterback connection with Josh Allen, and it's something that doesn't happen overnight.

With OTAs, minicamp and now training camp, Palmer and Allen have been working at understanding each other on the field.

So, how is that coming along?

"I would describe it as us having to be consistent with the connection," Palmer said. "In terms of after every play, I'm going to him and I'm saying is that where you wanted me to be and asking for feedback, especially after practice, asking him what routes he wants to run, where does he see me coming out of this break. I mean, just a lot of reps and doing it over and over again.”

Much has been made of the Bills' receiver room, and if there is enough juice to give Joe Brady and Allen a shot at Super Bowl glory.

We saw last season that Allen doesn't need a No. 1 weapon, but the collective is how things get done, and Palmer will be part of that. He isn't going to command targets; he'll slot into whatever role Brady has for him.

But to do that, chemistry and truth have to be developed with Allen at training camp, and going off Joshua's words, the pair are slowly making good progress to achieving that.
