Amari Cooper is one of the top remaining players on the free agency market, as the veteran wide receiver could still provide some value to a contender or rebuilding team.

Cooper could end up returning to the Buffalo Bills, but Sports Illustrated's Ronnie Eastham believes the Seattle Seahawks are a top landing spot for the free-agent receiver.

The Seahawks offense will look a lot different in 2025, as the team moved quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders and replaced him with Sam Darnold in free agency. Seattle also moved on from Tyler Lockett, who was released, and DK Metcalf, who was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After letting go of Lockett and trading Metcalf, general manager John Schneider addressed the receiver room by signing Cooper Kupp to pair with Jaxon Smith-Njigba. However, the Seahawks could use another playmaker at the position.

Though Cooper had a down year in 2024, as he posted a career-low 547 receiving yards and struggled to find a role in Buffalo's offense after being traded to the Bills at the deadline from the Cleveland Browns, the 30-year-old is still a savvy route runner who would be a nice intermediate threat for Darnold.

Additionally, Cooper is just two years removed from a stellar 2023 campaign with Cleveland, where he tallied a career-high 1,250 yards and also had 72 receptions.

Smith-Njigba and Kupp are capable of carrying most of the load in the receiving game, but the duo are mainly slot players, so Seattle could use a reliable boundary receiver. Cooper didn't have a great season last year, but the former first-round pick could flourish with a change of scenery and provide the Seahawks with adequate production.
