Do the Chicago Bears need one more marquee attraction?
As they look to build a winner under new head coach Ben Johnson, the Bears' roster still looks slightly outgunned in a stacked NFC North. In addition to a year two leap from Caleb Williams at quarterback, the Bears will need their 13th-ranked scoring defense to step up.
Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey is one of the top names in the trade rumor mill this offseason. He's coming into the final year of his contract, and ESPN's Adam Schefter recently said he "will get traded," making it only a question of where.
Would the Bears consider going after Ramsey? One NFL writer has a scenario in which he believes it could happen.
In a blockbuster three-team hypothetical, Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski proposed Wednesday that Ramsey could be shipped to Chicago, the Bears could send offensive tackle Braxton Jones to the Cleveland Browns, and the Dolphins could get corner Greg Newsome II from Cleveland.
"The Bears could use a player of Ramsey's caliber to line up opposite Jaylon Johnson and give the team a strong pair of coverage options to go along with an aggressive defensive front," Sobleski wrote. "A season ago, Chicago finished 16th in pass defense.

"General manager Ryan Poles has done an excellent job addressing need areas this offseason. Ben Johnson was the most coveted head coaching candidate before joining the Bears. Chicago can finally get serious about being competitive, and the acquisition of Ramsey would further cement the squad's up-and-coming status."
Ramsey, who will be 31 this season, doesn't appear to be fully past his prime yet. The seven-time Pro Bowler allowed a passer rating of 83.2 last season when targeted, with three touchdowns compared to two interceptions.
Ultimately, while this exact trade iteration is unlikely to happen, as three-team deals in the NFL are far more uncommon than the NBA, for example, it wouldn't be shocking at all to see the Bears emerge as winners in the Ramsey sweepstakes.
