Bears On Tap's Way too Early 2025 Record Predictions

It's mid-June, meaning it's time to predict the Chicago Bears record! Our On Tap Bears Contributors give their thoughts on the upcoming season.

Jun 3, 2025; Lake Forest, IL, USA; Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams (18) warms up during minicamp at Halas Hall.

It's the dead days of the off-season for the Chicago Bears. This is the time of the year when positivity is at an all-time high and meatballs are out in full swing. The Chicago Bears have been pronounced the off-season Champions for the third year in a row. Will this finally be the year it carries over into the regular season? Vegas currently has Chicago's win total at 8.5, a noticeable bump from last year's five wins. It is way too early to tell, but let's do it anyway! Here are our Bears On Tap predictions, even if it is way too early for such things.

Ron Luce: 11-6 (3-3 in the NFC North)

Wins: Vikings, Cowboys, Raiders, Commanders, Saints, Giants, Steelers, Browns, Packers, and Lions.

Losses: Lions, Ravens, Bengals, Vikings, Eagles, Packers, and 49ers.

At first, Samir had the Bears losing their week 18 matchup with the Lions. After thinking it through, he gave the Bears the W because "Goff in the clod? Forget about it. That optimism helped the Bears reach 10 wins and might secure a playoff spot.

Quinten Kryzsko: 11-6 (5-1)

  • Week 1 vs MIN: W
  • Week 2 @ DET: W
  • Week 3 vs DAL: W
  • Week 4 @ LVR: L
  • Week 5: BYE
  • Week 6 @ WAS: W
  • Week 7 vs NO: W

  • Week 13 @ PHI: L
  • Week 14 @ GB: W
  • Week 15 vs CLE: W
  • Week 16 vs GB: W
  • Week 17 @ SF: L
  • Week 18 vs DET: L

Wins: Vikings, Lions, Cowboys, Commanders, Saints, Giants, Vikings, Steelers, Packers, Browns, and Packers.

Losses: Raiders, Ravens, Bengals, Eagles, 49ers, and Lions.

Quinten might have created the most random sequence of events. He foresees a dominant 5-1 run in the division combined with a loss to the Pete Carroll-led Raiders. Maybe, with a bit of luck, the Bears will be able to rest their starters in week 18 against the Lions!

Seth Conklin: 11-6 (4-2)

  • Weel 1 vs MIN: W
  • Week 2 @ DET: L
  • Week 3 vs DAL: W
  • Week 4 @ LVR: W
  • Week 5: BYE
  • Week 6 @ WAS: W
  • Week 7 vs NO: W
  • Week 8 @ BAL: L
  • Week 9 @ CIN: L
  • Week 10 vs NYG: W
  • Week 11 @ MIN: L
  • Week 12 vs PIT: W
  • Week 13 @ PHI: L
  • Week 14 @ GB: W
  • Week 15 vs CLE: W
  • Week 16 vs GB: W
  • Week 17 @ SF: L
  • Week 18 vs DET: W

Wins: Vikings, Cowboys, Raiders, Commanders, Saints, Giants, Steelers, Packers, Browns, Packers, Lions

Losses: Lions, Ravens, Bengals, Vikings, Eagles, and 49ers.

Seth is almost as optimistic in the division, giving the Bears a 4-2 record in the NFC North. Their only divisional losses come at the hands of the Lions and Vikings. Another sure playoff berth, here.

Final Thoughts

Often, as Bears fans, this exercise is one of futility. All off-season, we are filled with hope, only to be crushed by week 8. Still, there is a difference in the energy surrounding this coaching staff, unlike in previous years. There is a strong sense of professionalism and accountability with Ben Johnson at the helm. However, we have been here before, and until the Bears prove otherwise, we must have our reservations.
