INDIANAPOLIS — NBC's newest competition show is all about contestants figuring out where the "X" they are in the world.
In "Destination X," Europe is turned into a real-life gameboard as 10 strangers participate on the trip of a lifetime and guess where they're at.
To shake things up, host Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Walking Dead," "The Boys") introduces two new contestants after a couple of eliminations: "Love Island" cast member JaNa Craig and "The Bachelor" and "The Traitors" cast member Peter Weber.
"This show was just the adventure of an absolute lifetime," said Weber, who got the nickname "Pilot Pete" on "The Bachelorette" and "The Bachelor" due to his aviation career outside of reality TV. "(It's) something that I was obviously super excited to be a part of with the nature of my career and traveling."
In each episode of "Destination X," the players get off the bus to compete in challenges that will help them figure out where they are. At the end of each episode, the person who guesses furthest away on a map from where they're at is sent home.
With a career in aviation, that would seem to be an obvious advantage to knowing their worldwide surroundings.
"I think I was a little bit more confident than I should have been. This show really does do a good job of testing you. Nothing is given, nothing is easy — it's all about just being as observant as possible," Weber said.
And joining the cast after a couple of eliminations has its pros and cons as well.
"You have the advantage of obviously coming in a little bit later in the game, so you only have so many more cities to go," Weber said. "But definitely the alliance aspect of it, it was very difficult to navigate. Obviously, everyone else has had a couple of days, weeks, whatever it was at that point to kind of build those, and you don't know if you're being played at any moment to try to get information right off the bat."

As a "Bachelor" alum, Weber was new to strategies and alliances in "The Traitors" while competing against gamers from "Survivor," "Big Brother" and "The Challenge." He's ready for it this time on "Destination X."
"I've never really considered myself a gamer, but I kind of like that title now," Weber said. "I definitely found my niche, and I'm super stoked having to watch ('Destination X') because I had a freaking blast playing it."
"I've been given some really incredible opportunities throughout the years. I truly wasn't ever looking for any of this stuff. It just kind of fell on my lap," Weber said. "Out of all the shows I've done, this is the longest gap from filming to being able to watch it back, so I'm really stoked for that."
New episodes of "Destination X" air Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
