Since finding love in tropical reality shows is all the rage, ABC's Bachelor in Paradise is back after a two-year absence, but one contestant revealed that she already slid into the DMs of another contestant prior to shooting. Bachelor in Paradise is The Bachelor's take on Love Island, wherein sexy single fan-favorites from Bachelor Nation head to Costa Rica to find love with other former contestants.

The concept is similar: contestants live on a secluded island and try to form connections while performing challenges; at the same time, they're tempted by new arrivals and must survive eliminations.

Bachelor in Paradise season 10 recently premiered, and Jess Edwards, who appeared in Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor, admitted in an interview with Parade that she slid into the DMs of another contestant, Spencer Conley, who had appeared in Jenn Tran's season of The Bachelorette. Jess had seen Spencer and liked what she saw, so she told Parade that she "definitely slid into the DMs once or twice."

"I followed him on Instagram while Jenn's season was airing because I thought he was cute. I will say, I definitely slid into the DMs once or twice, like 'Cute dog,' or 'Oh my gosh, I need to make that recipe!'"
