Bachelor in Paradise season 10 has announced its Golden cast, including ten seniors who'll get a second chance at love on the beaches of Costa Rica.
In an Instagram post, Bachelor in Paradise announced that the Golden cast will include April Kirkwood, 67; Charles "CK" King, 62; Gary Levingston, 66; Jack Lencioni, 69; Kathy Swarts, 72; Keith Gordon, 63; Kim Buike, 70; Leslie Fhima, 66; Natascha Hardee, 62; and Ralph "RJ" Johnson, 66. It's not yet known if the Golden contestants will join the cast during week 1 or later in the season, or if more will be added to the cast as the season progresses.
Both The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette were inspiring shows that proved that it's never too late to find true love. Although Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist ended up getting a divorce after The Golden Bachelor, their journey helped shine a light on what it's like to date as a senior. They and engaged Golden Bachelorette couple Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple proved that the older generation is still vibrant and full of life, and that finding one's person is possible at any age, even after great heartache.
In addition, the Golden contestants were funny, kind, and fun to watch, so their inclusion in Bachelor in Paradise season 10 means that the show will be elevated to a new level. While a lot of the series showcases frivolous summer fun, the Golden relationships could bring deeper meaning to the show as the cast members navigate dating in their senior years. They'll also have a lot of advice and wisdom to offer the younger contestants.
The Bachelor in Paradise season 10 cast has some beloved stars in the bunch, but there are a few notable names that are missing. While fan favorites Mark Anderson, Guy Gansert, and Susan Noles are all in relationships, there are some contestants, including Jordan Heller and Sandra Mason, who have some romantic history with Leslie and CK. Jordan and Leslie spent some time together after she expressed interest in him, while CK and Sandra went on a date. Perhaps they'll show up in Costa Rica at a later date like in the traditional Bachelor in Paradise format.
Other notable absences include Theresa Nist, Faith Martin, Ellen Goltzer, Nancy Hulkower, Pascal Ibgui, Jonathan Rone, and Charles Ling. Theresa recently revealed that her indecision about joining the cast made the producers ultimately reject her, while Pascal shared that he already knew that he wasn't interested in any of the Golden women, so he didn't want to join the cast.
Although some Golden contestants are missing from the Bachelor in Paradise season 10 group, the people who were cast are charismatic and wonderful, and will bring their special magic to the show. I can't wait to see how Bachelor in Paradise season 10 plays out with the addition of the Golden contestants, and I hope that they find love in Costa Rica.
