B&B Spoiler Alert — Fans react to Luna, Will, and what happens next on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna is a stone's throw from getting what she wants, and neither Will, Finn, nor Steffy can stop her. But the one person who can take control of the situation seemingly won't.

Who can stop Luna on The Bold and the Beautiful

It may be a crazy statement to make, but how the heck is Luna (Lisa Yamada) still a danger, striking fear into the hearts of Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) — and now, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow)? Well, to me, the fault lies squarely in one place: with the police.

Pardons and questionable decisions aside, Chief Baker (Dan Martin) is watching in real time as he lets an inexperienced minor wear a wire to coerce a double murderer to confess that she had the intent to harm. It went sideways real fast, and all he seems to do is panic. Baker should have had his law enforcement officers move in immediately upon seeing Luna in possession of a firearm. That should have been enough to have her locked up.

They have access to one of the best and most well-known S.W.A.T. teams on the western seaboard, even if it’s fake L.A.. Make the call, Chief. As the precarious, if not deadly, situation unfolds for Will, we have to wait and watch, just like Finn, Steffy, and Electra (Laneya Grace), to see what happens next. But what do the fans and viewers think of what's going down?

Luna possesses an illegal firearm

“Baker has enough to arrest Luna because she pulled out a gun that she shouldn't be owning. That would land her a few years in jail as she is already a felon. Of course I don't see them locking her up over this, because the writers want her to continue with her revenge on Steffy. How will they write her getting away with possessing an illegal firearm though? Lol” – senior board user, demoslider

“Unfortunately, Thanks to Bill's idiocy, Luna is not a felon. She isn't even on PAROLE. She was just flat out pardoned like she didn't murder, kidnap, torture, or drug anyone. The gun is definitely illegal, and they could probably bring her in for that, but it wouldn't do much. Since she obviously has plenty of money for the gun, an apartment, fancy nails, and 2-3 feet of hair extensions, she can probably scare up a lawyer. (Not meant as any kind of insult- she looks GORGEOUS, but her hair and nails are obviously not real since they changed overnight a few times.” – Sopranojenn

“She is still a felon. A pardon doesn't erase the criminal record; only an expungement would do that.” – demoslider

Where there's a Will, there's… a way

But seriously, there's also the fact that Will is right there, a few inches away, and probably outweighs Luna by 40 to 50 pounds at least, and I don't think Luna is combat trained by the lack of firearm discipline she’s exhibiting, waving the gun around so close. That's just asking to have it wrenched from her grip and having the situation turn on her rather quickly.

So what will happen (no pun intended)? Whether or not Will saves himself, or the police do it for him, Luna makes the slip. And no, she doesn’t take everyone’s advice that she should have listened to a week ago – she doesn’t leave town. The chaos and danger is going to escalate before this ordeal is over, and Luna is more determined than ever to make Steffy pay.

Luna may have been distracted temporarily by her attraction to Will and the possibility of a relationship with him, but her next move (and her gun) will be focused back on Steffy, Hayes, and wanting to be free to have a life with her dad real soon.
