The Atlanta Falcons fell just short of a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football by a score of 22-17. The Falcons had momentum going late in the fourth quarter. However, they were unable to take the lead, and many fans are calling the game “rigged” for the Chiefs after an obvious missed pass interference call gave Kansas City possession to win the game.

On a third down play by the goal line, Cousins threw an incompletion in the end zone to tight end Kyle Pitts, who looked to be held by the defender, which many think should have been called a penalty. If the flag was thrown, it would have given the Falcons another shot to score a touchdown and take the lead.

It’s no secret that NFL fans believe that the league is in favor of Kansas City because of all the key calls by the referees towards the end of games, and this game is no different. Many fans claimed the game was rigged after the missed call that seemed like an obvious pass interference.

Several fans also claimed that if it was the Chiefs offense on the field, the flag would have been thrown for defensive pass interference. There were many calls in this game that were questionable for both sides, but this penalty was a huge turning point in the game.

Do you think the referees should have thrown a flag on the play, or did they make the right call?
