Ariana Madix’s brother, Jeremy Madix, just received a massive gift. Earlier this year, the Vanderpump Rules adjacent star got into trouble at the Orlando International Airport. He was traveling to Germany with a friend. Oh, and 64 bags of marijuana. Jeremy’s arrest and extradition to Florida took place several months later. But now, Jeremy is hopefully thanking his lucky stars, as the courts just agreed to drop his drug trafficking charges.
Jeremy Madix, Ariana Madix’s brother, is no longer facing drug trafficking charges
Jeremy is a free man. Either his mother wrote an epic letter to the courts, or her son is innocent (or flipped on someone). Either way, these dropped charges arose, and his household must now be feeling thankful.
A Reddit user doing the lord’s work found and shared the Florida court documents that aimed at setting Jeremy free. “From the investigation which has been made, it is of the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution,” the docket read. In the second bullet point, his files stated,” This action is taken to clear the records and to release subject’s bond if any has been posted responsive to the above charge(s). If in custody, [the] defendant should be released.
Dean Andrew Reed, the Assistant State Attorney, signed off on this document. To date, neither Jeremy nor Ariana have spoken out about this dismissal. Hopefully, these siblings are still in a decent place, as this past year saw them struggling here and there.
In the comments, the fans of VPR reacted in one of two ways. They either praised themselves for not judging Jeremy when the news of his arrest first sounded. Or, they assumed that he snitched on someone else, and now, this unknown person will soon be taking the fall for his failed plane ride of fun.
Poor Mary Jane. She would have enjoyed Germany. Hopefully, Jeremy enjoys this second chance at a free life. If not, well, that is on him.
