Season 7 of Love Island USA is coming to a close, but there’s plenty more content coming your way! The first-of-its-kind spinoff, Love Island: Beyond the Villa, drops next week, which is set to follow a bunch of the Season 6 islanders in their day-to-day lives without the pressure of the villa.
Of course, Ariana Madix knows a thing or two about that format of reality show, after having spent a decade on Vanderpump Rules. With that in mind, she recently shared some tips with Beyond the Villa’s JaNa Craig and Serena Page.
Ariana Madix gave Love Island: Beyond the Villa stars some advice
In addition to JaNa and Serena, Beyond the Villa brings together Season 6 Islanders Leah Kateb, Kenny Rodriguez, Kendall Washington, Kaylor Martin, Liv Walker, Miguel Harichi, Aaron Evans, and Connor Newsum. According to Ariana, she actually saw them in the wild while filming at a VPR spot.

“They came to the sandwich shop, Something About Her, to shoot their spinoff show,” Ariana revealed. “So I got to chat with them a little bit there because a lot of times we interact online.”
More recently, when JaNa and Serena went to Fiji to film an episode of Aftersun, Ariana said they had an off-camera dinner where she got all of the tea on Beyond the Villa. That’s when she gave them some of her own expert advice about reality TV. After all, this is going to be a lot different from Love Island.
“There’s a lot of similarities to filming [Beyond the Villa] as, I feel like, there was to filming Vanderpump Rules, for example. So we were able to talk a lot about that,” Ariana teased.
Although Ariana didn’t give any specifics about the advice she gave the girls, we know she’s got a wealth of knowledge. We’ll assume her biggest suggestion was to stay away from guys named Tom.
Love Island: Beyond the Villa premieres on Sunday, July 13 at 9/8c on Peacock. New episodes drop every Thursday thereafter.
