Next Gen NYC's Ariana Biermann opened up about a complicated financial situation with Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann.
Ariana Biermann is carving a new life for herself in the Big Apple. The daughter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak is a budding fashion designer who has already had a successful career. However, she claimed on the premiere of Next Gen NYC, her earnings haven't always been going into her own bank account.
“I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14,” Ariana said on the June 3 episode. “I was doing like three posts a week. You can get paid astronomical [amounts] to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money.”
However, Ariana alleged that those earnings went to Kim and Kroy Biermann: “Unfortunately, my parents took my money.”
“I can’t say exactly what they used it on, because I just found out that it was gone two years ago,” Ariana stated. “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went.”
Ariana explained that the lost money was a factor in her moving from Atlanta to New York City, along with her parents’ sale of her childhood home.
“I wish I would have been kept in the light about it, because I feel like I was grown enough to know the truth,” she added. “To know there is nothing left, our house is about to be gone. Instead of the lying. I get it. The lying is why I moved out.”
Hudson McLeroy reacts to Ariana Biermann sending her money to Kim Zolciak
While Ariana and her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, are happily settling into life in New York City, she shared during the June 3 episode that her parents’ use of her money has been hard on their relationship.
“Did I see my mom drinking a $200 bottle of wine on her story the other day? I did,” Ariana said to Hudson over dinner, and he responded, “And she almost brags to us…Why are you doing that?”
Ariana also revealed that she sends money to Kim to this day.
“The thing that we do honestly struggle with sometimes is when my mom does call me and asks me for money now,” Ariana said in her confessional.
Hudson admitted it makes him “upset.”
“You have to tell her, ‘No, I can’t send you money this month. You’ve already taken everything I have,’” he told Ariana, and later added, “You’re still taking the money that you’re making, right now, and giving it to her.”

Ariana confessed she sometimes hides it from her boyfriend when Kim asks for money.
“She’s going through this crazy divorce and being a mother to four kids. I get it," Ariana said. "And I never want money to destroy a relationship with my family, ever."
“At the same time though it’s like, what do you expect me to do, Hudson?" she continued. "The AC’s not working, I’ll pay the AC bill."
But Hudson was suspicious about the use of the money.
“She says it’s money for the kids. Are you sure that it’s money for the kids?” he asked. “How do you exactly know where that money is that you’re Zelle-ing to her? It’s pure cash. She can do whatever she wants with it.”
Ariana disagreed, and told Hudson, “It’s just really not your business.”
But Hudson pointed out that since they live together in NYC, “It’s our business now.”
“What am I supposed to do? Say no?” Ariana asked, and Hudson replied, “I wish you would sometimes.”
