On June 13, 2025, Grant and Juliana announced that they'd ended their engagement, about eight months after their proposal, and about three months after their season finale aired. They each posted an Instagram story explaining the details of the breakup, and letting fans know that they still have a lot of love and respect for each other. Grant and Juliana also emphasized that they have no negativity towards each other, but stated that they simply realized that they weren't right for each other.

Grant shared a picture from their engagement photoshoot, and wrote, "This is one of the hardest things I've had to write, but I want to share it honestly. Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship. We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we've come to the understanding that we're simply not the right fit long term."

Grant went on to say, "What we had was meaningful. The connection we built on the show was real, and so was the effort we made to continue once the cameras stopped rolling. There's no negativity here. No resentment. Just two people who care about each other and want the best for one another moving forward. I'll always be grateful for what we shared and for the growth that came with it."

Grant concluded by saying, "Thank you to everyone who supported us and believed in our journey. This chapter is closing, but we're both walking away with love and respect in our hearts."

Juliana also posted about the split in an Instagram story, with a picture of her and Grant meeting on The Bachelor season 29 premiere night. She wrote, "It's a gift to find someone who sees the world in a way that resonates with you, while also encouraging you to grow. I've been grateful to share that experience with Grant."

Juliana continued, "Marriage is a commitment, and it's one we both still believe in deeply. After a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we've come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is meant to continue on separate paths."

Juliana also stated, "We shared something meaningful, navigating a unique journey side by side, learning, growing, and showing up for each other the best we knew how. And while this isn't the ending we once imagined, it's one filled with mutual respect, care, and hope for what's ahead."

Juliana concluded by saying, "We're still cheering each other on, just from different places now. I'm beyond thankful for all the love and support you all have given us. Please be kind."

Grant & Juliana Had Big Plans For Their Future After The Bachelor Season 29

Grant & Julia Were Going To Live Together In Boston

The Bachelor season 29 "After the Final Rose" episode revealed that Grant and Juliana were still together after filming ended and happily engaged. Once they were able to come out of hiding and go public as a couple, they were very vocal in interviews and on their social media accounts about how much they loved each other. They also had plans for Grant to move to Boston so that he and Juliana could live together.

In a post-show interview with PeopleGrant and Juliana gave details about their future together and why they chose Boston as their potential home base. Grant, who currently lives in Houston, Texas, explained, "I love the dynamic that her town has and that her family has, and I want to be close to that. I'm going to have my house in Houston, but I'm also going to come over there, and we're going to make it work." Juliana shared, "We'll take a peek at some apartments and see what our vibe is like and where we want to be." Grant added, "We’re going to figure it out."

I just can't wait to live a normal life with you.

Juliana was excited to live everyday life with her new fiancé, Grant, including having dinner at her favorite local restaurant. She said, "I can't wait to go back to Olivia's Bistro, eat some mushroom tagliatelle, have some red wine, and just have a normal dinner. I think that that has been something since day one of even starting this process, and knowing what comes after if it is you, I just can't wait to live a normal life with you."

Did Grant & Juliana Have Wedding Plans?

Grant & Juliana Weren't In A Rush To Walk Down The Aisle

Grant and Juliana both wanted to get married in the future, but Juliana told People that there was "no rush" for them to tie the knot. She explained, "I just feel like we want to live life together for a minute. A wedding is a big thing, and there's so many people we have to meet. I want them all to have an opportunity to see [Grant], see us, and just have it make sense to everybody."

We’re going to live it up. There's going to be wine, there's going to be family, and it's going to be a celebration of life. When the time is right, we're going to handle it, and we're going to talk about it, and we're going to have a really fun wedding.

Grant added that their wedding, which Juliana wanted to take place in Italy, was going to be a special event, sharing, "We’re going to live it up. There's going to be wine, there's going to be family, and it's going to be a celebration of life. When the time is right, we're going to handle it, and we're going to talk about it, and we're going to have a really fun wedding."

Although Grant seemed torn between Juliana and Litia during The Bachelor season 29 finale, it's still surprising that they broke up because they really did seem perfect for each other. However, the pressures of real life after the romantic fantasy world of The Bachelor are often a wake-up call for couples from the show. Only three couples out of 29 from The Bachelor are still together: married couples Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici and Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar, and engaged couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson.

After watching Grant and Juliana fall in love, it's sad that they won't be getting married. However, they seem to have come to terms with their decision to break up. Grant and Juliana are wished all the best as they move on to the next chapters of their lives.
