Andy Cohen is in no hurry to begin filming on The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15. In fact, he’s seemingly shelved the series for at least a year.

After season 14 concluded with a cast divide, with Jennifer Aydin, 47, and Jackie Goldschneider, 48, aligning with Teresa Giudice, 52, and Margaret Josephs, 57, Rachel Fuda, 33, Danielle Cabral, 39, and Jennifer Fessler, 55, supporting Melissa Gorga, 45, the Watch What Happens Live host begged fans to “stop asking” for updates on the potentially upcoming season.

“You’re not gonna get [an update] for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking,” Andy, 56, told Us Weekly on December 17. “And I keep saying you are going to get nothing, so stop asking!”

During her own interview with the outlet, Dolores Catania, 53, the only cast member who was able to remain neutral as Teresa and Melissa refused to film together, admitted that she questioned whether or not she’d be asked back for season 15.

“I’m a realistic pessimist, so I’m just being very Italian and being like, ‘Ah, it’s over. It’s done.’ But I say that every year,” she admitted weeks ago. “I, every year, thought I was never coming back. That’s just me being, if you want to say humble, if that’s how you want to call it. Or not taking it for granted.”

Andy also commented on the status of RHONJ last month, saying that he and his fellow producers were “taking [their] time” deciding on the details of the new season.

“We are in no rush. We’re really gratified with what’s on the slate for next year,” Andy said on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live. “[For instance], the new Atlanta, which I’m seven episodes in of watching, it’s outstanding. I’m so excited for people to see this, and they’re going to see it early next year.”

Although fans won’t be seeing the RHONJ cast back on screen anytime soon, they did get some drama out of Teresa and Melissa last week after Melissa announced her new line of sprinkle cookies.

“You’re welcome,” Teresa wrote on X after the products were launched.

Teresa was, of course, referencing her and Melissa’s season three feud, in which she shaded Melissa for bringing sprinkle cookies to her Christmas party, declaring that she preferred pignoli cookies.
