Atlanta Falcons UDFA Cobee Bryant has the tools needed to survive off-season cuts in Atlanta, but what makes him so intriguing?
The Former Kansas Jayhawks defensive back went undrafted on NFL Draft night. This shocked some, especially Bryant, who said, "Crazy if you think 26 corners better than me!" It could very well work out in his favor in Atlanta. He has a more than legitimate shot to make this team and suit up week one as an active member of the roster.
As much as an athlete wants to hear their name called on draft night, sometimes the free agent route is the best possible outcome since it gives the player sole control over their destiny. Now, Bryant will have the opportunity to come in and compete for an opening without the pressure of being a draftee.

Thin but highly competitive cornerback with plenty of ball production and penalties to sift through. First and foremost, Bryant wants the football and does what he can to find it. He’s adequate in man coverage but struggles against big receivers in space. His instincts and ball skills shine in zone, where he reads route development and quarterback intentions.
His low weight and skinny build will put him below the threshold for some teams, while his length, toughness, and strong performance at the East-West Shrine Bowl will put him in play for others. Bryant has the potential to see nickel snaps as a pro if he can trust his technique and limit the penalties.
