• Bryce Young started at quarterback for the Panthers. Young completed 21-of-35 passes for 263 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and ran three times for 20 yards. Young had a 1-yard touchdown pass to David Moore as Carolina cut Kansas City’s lead to 20-16 with 6:26 left in the third quarter.

  • Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries and caught three passes for 9 yards. Gibbs scored on a 1-yard run as Detroit took a 7-3 lead with 12:07 left in the first half and one a 5-yard run as the Lions increased their lead to 21-6 with 2:19 remaining in the third quarter. With 10 rushing touchdowns and one receiving TD in 2024, Gibbs has matched the totals of his rookie season. He became the third player in the franchise’s history to produce at least 10 scrimmage touchdowns in each of his first two seasons, joining Billy Sims in 1980 and 1981 and Barry Sanders in 1989 and 1990.

  • Anfernee Jennings (Dadeville) started at outside linebacker for the Patriots. Jennings made six tackles.
  • Tua Tagovailoa started at quarterback for the Dolphins. Tagovailoa completed 29-of-40 passes for 317 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Tagovailoa’s 14th game with more than 300 passing yards was his fourth with at least four touchdown passes. 
   
   
  • Jaylen Waddle started at wide receiver for the Dolphins. Waddle had eight receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown. Waddle caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as Miami took a 31-0 lead with 1:37 left in the third quarter. Waddle’s 12th 100-yard game was his first since the season-opening contest. He posted the second-highest single-game receiving-yardage total of his career.

  • Mack Wilson (Carver-Montgomery) started at inside linebacker for the Cardinals. Wilson made four tackles and registered one quarterback hit.

  • Landon Dickerson started at left guard for the Eagles.
  • Jalen Hurts started at quarterback for the Eagles. Hurts completed 15-of-22 passes for 179 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and ran 12 times for 39 yards. Hurts threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver A.J. Brown as Philadelphia took a 13-7 lead with 1:27 left in the first half.
  • Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks was designated as a game-day inactive.
  • Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith was designated as a game-day inactive. A hamstring injury kept Smith out of the lineup.
  • Eagles offensive lineman Tyler Steen did not record any stats.
  • Eagles defensive tackle Byron Young is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.

  Week 12 started on Thursday night, when the Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19 in a snowstorm.
