Alabama football has added a defensive lineman to its 2026 recruiting class.
JJ Finch told On3 on Sunday that he has committed to the Crimson Tide. He picked Alabama over Tennessee, Michigan, Miami and other schools.
Finch is a 6-3, 260-pound defensive lineman from Indianapolis, Indiana. He plays for Warren Central High School.
The 247Sports Composite lists him as a three-star prospect and the No. 50 defensive lineman overall in the class. He’s ranked No. 448 among all prospects in the country but the No. 2 recruit in Indiana.
Alabama now has the No. 39 recruiting class per the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.
Finch took a visit to Miami this weekend after a visit to Tennessee the prior weekend, per 247Sports. On Jun. 6, he visited Michigan. Finch took his official visit to Alabama on May 30.
Other players Alabama has added in the 2026 class so far include quarterback Jett Thomalla, cornerback Jorden Edmonds, athlete Zyan Gibson, offensive lineman Sam Utu, edge defender Jamarion Matthews, offensive lineman Chris Booker and edge defender Kamhariyan Johnson.
