Jett Thomalla, a four-star quarterback, has flipped his commitment from Iowa State to Alabama, he told On3. Thomalla originally committed to Iowa State on April 18.
Thomalla is a 6-3½, 205-pound quarterback from Omaha, Nebraska. He plays for Millard South. The 247Sports Composite ranks him the No. 16 quarterback and No. 232 player overall in the 2026 recruiting class.
Thomalla also has offers from Arizona, Iowa, Missouri, Duke and more.
Other players Alabama has added in the 2026 class so far include cornerback Jorden Edmonds, athlete Zyan Gibson, offensive lineman Sam Utu, edge defender Jamarion Matthews, offensive lineman Chris Booker and edge defender Kamhariyan Johnson.
