Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf Joint Apperance Hints 4x MVP Will Sign With Pittsburgh Steelers, Says James Jones

Aaron Rodgers may sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers after he was seen working out with DK Metcalf according to former NFL player James Jones. Currently, Rodgers has not officially signed with any team, but the Steelers are definitely looking like favorites. From recent reports, the former New York Jets quarterback seems to have left the country and has not given anything concrete to the Steelers about his decision.

Rodgers was seen having a throwing sesh with DK Metcalf at UCLA. Metcalf is one of the newest additions to the Pittsburgh Steelers team after putting in a trade request with the Seattle Seahawks. James Jones pinpointed this on Tuesday on ‘The Facility’ where he highlighted the various reasons as to why Rodgers would have allowed the public to see him training with Metcalf.

“Steelers fans should absolutely be excited about Aaron Rodgers throwing to D.K. Metcalf,” Jones said. “Number one, it is letting the Steelers nation know that he wants to play football. Number two, I don’t know if you all know, but y’all quarterback right now is Mason Rudolph. So, to have a guy in Aaron Rodgers who’s capable of making those two dudes, D.K. and George Pickens, really, really good players. They should be really excited that he is out there throwing because it lets me know he wants to play football this year, and it lets me know that it’s going to be the Steelers.” James Jones said on ‘The Facility’ about Aaron Rodgers.

James Jones went on to cement his statement that Aaron Rodgers will definitely be playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the next NFL season. Rodgers played for the New York Jets in the previous NFL season, but the team eventually let him go after his sub-par performances.

Only five players have won back back-to-back NFL MVP awards. Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the last to do it in 2020-2021.

Aaron Rodgers Might Be ‘Holding Out For Minnesota’, Says Ben Roethlisberger

Aaron Rodgers’ next team is still undecided, and it looks like tired sports analysts are almost ready to make the decision for him. Former footballer Ben Roethlisberger actually believes that Rodgers will actually be playing for the Minnesota Vikings and not the Pittsburgh Steelers, despite training with DK Metcalf recently.

Roethlisberger not only stated this in the latest episode of his ‘Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger’ podcast but also drew similarities between Rodgers’ career and Brett Favre’s career. Favre is a former NFL quarterback who spent the majority of his career with the Green Bay Packers.
