Aaron Rodgers Confirmed to Have Signed With Pittsburgh Steelers, Contract Details Revealed

   

The 41-year-old quarterback was expected to sign with the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season, and the team has now confirmed he is joining.

“We have agreed to terms with QB Aaron Rodgers on a one-year contract, pending the completion of a physical,” the Steelers confirmed on Twitter/X.

This will mark Aaron‘s 21st season in the NFL after being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2005.

In a press release, the Steelers shared some stats on Aaron‘s career thus far, including has “appeared in 241 games, starting 248 of them. He has completed 5,369 of 8,245 passes, 65.1%, for 62,952 yards and 503 touchdowns.”

 

Earlier this year, Aaron was cut from the New York Jets after just two seasons with the team.

NFL.com reported that Aaron will by flying into Pittsburgh on Friday (June 6) to sign his contract, with the team’s minicamp kicking off next week and he is expected to hit the field for the first time on Tuesday (10).
