The reasons the Atlanta Falcons should be all in on Myles Garrett are beyond obvious. This team hasn't been able to solve their pass-rushing woes for much of a decade. Opting to bring in one of the most talented pass rushers the league has seen would be a move putting the team over the top. No matter who you spend Pick 15 on you're not getting a Myles Garrett-level impact or anything close to it.
Garrett asking the team for a trade isn't a surprise with the window for contention closing. Cleveland put itself in an awful position with Deshaun Watson's deal still impossible to escape. It is time for a complete reset and Garrett wants a chance to win it all. This is the toughest part of a potential trade. Selling Myles Garrett on the fact to leave one cursed franchise unable to win it all and join another.
It is a tough sell but not an impossible one if the Falcons are willing to pay top dollar. This first package is simply two first-round picks and a possible answer to the running game. With Nick Chubb's future in question the Browns could use the stability of a player that deserves a chance at a starting role.

Kirk Cousins |
If there is one franchise that is going to consider taking Kirk Cousins off Atlanta's hands it is the Cleveland Browns. Completely apart from a trade for Myles Garrett, the Browns make a lot of sense as a new landing spot for Cousins. The team isn't ready for a complete reset with a young quarterback but must find an answer with Deshaun Watson's injury concerns.
This deal serves as a reset for your franchise and softens the blow for the fanbase just a bit. It is far easier to be excited about Kirk Cousins and two first-round picks than another season of hoping Watson finds a way to not only take the field but turn back the clock. It seems likely the quarterback is going to miss 2025 and Cousins is your answer to that problem.
As the Browns wait out Watson's contract, they can still go through the motions of appearing to try and compete. Two first-round picks, a day-two selection, and your starting quarterback for the 2025 season is as good of a trade package as they could hope for. The only thing that could change this is a team with a more attractive 2025 pick matching Atlanta's offer.

Myles Garrett has had quite the career since being the first-overall pick in 2017. He has won awards, made the Pro Bowl, made All-Pro teams, and recently broke the century mark in sacks.
He has also requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns who are stuck treading water due to the Deshaun Watson debacle. This trade request is big news because it isn't every day that a Defensive Player of the Year winner and one of the best players in the entire league becomes available, assuming Cleveland grants the request.
Garrett is also the perfect fit for the Falcons because he plays the exact position they need a superstar at. In addition, the Dirty Birds can offer up a player(s) who would do the Browns organization some good.
Myles Garrett is the perfect target for the Atlanta Falcons
Currently, the Atlanta Falcons lack draft picks and cap space -- two things you need when trading for a superstar who isn't on his rookie deal anymore. Those two facts would make most fans give up on any hope that this trade could get done, but not so fast.
The Falcons have trade pieces, particularly in Kirk Cousins and Kyle Pitts -- two players who have played at a high level in past seasons. For the Browns, they are worth the risk.
Cousins' contract is a big sticking point, however. The two sides would have to negotiate the dollar signs because it is doubtful the Browns want to inherit Cousins' contract. The numbers wouldn't be astronomical but they don't want to add even more money to their QB payroll.
The Falcons may have to throw in a pick or two as well. It is also possible they could use picks to convince the Browns to eat Cousins' salary.
Atlanta would still be on the hook for a lot of money with the quarterback but trading him is the best way to minimize the damage, especially if you get a Defensive Player of the Year.
Then you have the cap space which isn't a big problem. Terry Fontenot might have his team over the cap right now but there are plenty of cap-saving moves available, most notably through restructures.
All in all, the Dirty Birds are the most logical landing spot for one of the most dominant pass rushers in the league -- if the Browns are willing to sell.
