For Sanders, some have questioned his character more than his play. It seems unfair, but he's certainly someone who loves to show off. Whether it be with jewelry, after a big win, or in other ways, Sanders loves the spotlight.

That isn't the worst thing, but he'll have to fit in with an NFL locker room and some have questioned if he can.

Speaking about Sanders, new Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold gave him advice, talking about his own experience as a backup for parts of his career.

"I was in a quarterback competition in my second year in Carolina with Baker. Me and Baker are still really close to this day, and we both had such a genuine respect for one another," Darnold said, per Irish Star.

"Sometimes, it wasn't exactly clear who was getting the 1's reps or 2's reps that day. But when our number was called, whether it was me or Bake going out there with the 1's, it was just like, 'All right, go out there.'"

Ultimately, Darnold wants Sanders to know that no matter what, he has to treat other players with respect.

"I think whether it's Shedeur or anyone else, I think just having respect for those guys in the quarterbacks room and helping everybody get better."

However it unfolds, Sanders will be looked at from a different light by fans, media, and others around the league.
